Competition is a key part of DECA, and something that everyone here at CDC has had the chance to experience. It's extremely important to ensure that our competitors are as prepared as possible, to make sure that we have success at every level of competition. That's why I want to provide you with more resources that you can use to succeed. For example, did you know that Florida DECA used to have a podcast? I'd love to revive this idea that allowed our top competitive members and advisors to share their competition tips and tricks directly with you. As a freshman when I first heard about the podcast, it was a great opportunity for me to learn how to better succeed. I still use the tools that I learned from the podcast in my competitive strategy. Another initiative that I want to implement is competition prep Zooms. These Zooms could be used as a place for international winners from Florida to share their advice, and a chance for members and state officers to provide help with your competition prep and answer any questions you may have. These, and many other ideas I have, are ways that I hope to prepare our members for competition.
